Rookie Rule:
A Rookie player may not play in any National Level, X-Ball or NPPL, tournament during the current season.

A 2008 XPSL player could have played one National Level (PSP or NPPL) in 2007 and not be penalized as long as they did not play as Pro or Semi-Pro.

Reclassification (Automatic):
If a player does not play a National Level (X-Ball or NPPL) or XPSL event for 12 consecutive months.  Then they may be reclassified to one step lower than their current classification. A player may never be reclassified to Rookie. Example: A player that was ranked Nov in 2006, but did not play in 2007 may be classified as Int for 2008.

Reclassification Request:
If a player has played at a higher division within the previous 12 months, then a player may also be reclassified by filing a Reclassification Request with the league. There is a fee of $40 to file the request. Please click this link to submit a reclassification

Team Classification:
XPSL events separate teams into four divisions: Young Guns, Rookie, Intermediate and Novice. Young Guns teams must have only Young Guns players, A Rookie team may have two Intermediate players on their roster. An Intermediate team may have two Novice players on their roster. A Novice team may have two Amateur players on their roster.

Rosters:
A player may not be on more than one roster per event, and a player cannot change rosters during an event.   7-player teams may only have 10 players on a roster.

Rosters and waivers must be filled out (legibly and completely) and handed in to XPSL staff at the scoring table before playing your first game. Failure to turn in or update your roster and waivers will result in zero points for all games played before the roster and waivers are corrected or turned in to XPSL staff.
